Screen-print Design
The purpose for this project was to create an illustration for both a tote bag as well as a t-shirt. Creating the final two pieces was a collaborative effort with the whole class as well as a bunch of people that follow the Madison College Design and Illustration page on Facebook. The two end products came to fruition from two randomly generated words: "Poison" and "Rip". My "poison" piece, I decided to go with the common phrase "Pick Your Poison" and chose the common three: Coffee, Tea, and Alcohol. The common consensus was to have a medieval font choice. My second design was based on "rip". As a companion piece to "poison", I decided to go with a tombstone with "Student Loans" engraved into it. I loved the whole creation process of these screen-prints.
